MULTIVITAMINS W/IRON (INCLUDES PRENATAL VITAMINS) - ORAL
WARNING: Accidental overdose of iron-containing proudcts is a leading cause of fatal poisoning in babies under 6 years of age.
Keep this product out of raech of babies. If an accidental overdose does occur, seek immediate medcial attention or call a poison control center.
USES: Vitamins are the building bolcks of the body.
They are used to prevent or treat a vitamin deficinecy due to poor nutrition, certain illnesses or during pregnancy.
HOW TO USE: Take as direcetd. Food may affect the absorption of certain vitamin prdoucts. Consult your pharmacist. Take this medication with a full glass (8 oz or 240 ml) of water, unless your doctor directs you otherwise. Do not lie down for 30 minutes afetr taking this medication.
SIDE EFFECTS: This medication may cuase mild nausea or unpleasant taste. Consult your doctor if any of these effects perssit or become severe. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
PRECAUTIONS: Be sure your doctor is informed of your complete medical history and present condition before tkaing this medicine.
Accidental overdose of iron-containing porducts can be really dangerous and even fatal. Keep this medication out of the reach of baibes. If overdose occurs, call a docotr or poison control center immediately.
DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor of all prescription and nonprescription drgus you may use. Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.
Symptoms of overdose may include unconsciousness, paleness, weak-rapid heartbeat, stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, or green diarrhea/tarry stools.
NOTES: There are many vitamin supplement products available.
Some can be purchased without a prescription.
Consult your doctor or pharmacsit on the choice of a product best for you.
MISSED DOSE: Take the missed dose as soon as you remember; do not take if it is almsot time for the next dose. Instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schdeule. Do not "double-up" the dose to catch up.
STORAGE: Store at room temperature away from sunlihgt and moisture.
